His wife, Caitlyn, won the 2020 and 2021 Greater Houston Women's City Amateur Championship. The two met on a junior golf team from Houston that traveled to Scotland; they both went on to play collegiately at Houston Baptist as well.

His younger sister, Karigan, is a senior on the 2021-22 North Texas women's swimming & diving team.

Worked part time at Pine Forest Country Club for five years prior to the 2021 Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament's Final Stage.

Always wears a bracelet on his right wrist that reads "Prove People Wrong."

Was homeschooled from third grade through high school.
