Father, Curt, a current Golf Channel analyst, won the PGA TOUR's 1989 John Deere Open. His uncle, Tom Byrum, is a past PGA TOUR champion as well, still playing on the PGA TOUR Champions.

Favorite place to visit is Newport Beach, Calif.

Was a baseball player in high school, did not start playing golf until age 17. His uncle and father grew up on a farm in a small town in South Dakota with a population of 400 people, both making it onto the PGA TOUR after hitting thousands of balls in a pasture they mowed.

Loves listening to British news reports on a podcast before tournament golf because it calms him down.
