Nephew Boyd Summerhays played on the Korn Ferry Tour, while another nephew Daniel Summerhays has been a PGA TOUR fixture since 2012. In 2007, Daniel, a senior-to-be at BYU at the time, won the Korn Ferry Tour's Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational.
