      PGA TOUR Champions heads west for the Hoag Classic for the first of two consecutive weeks in California.

      Seven World Golf Hall of Fame members, including defending champion Padraig Harrington, will tee it up at Newport Beach Country Club. Fellow Hall of Famers and past winners of the Hoag Classic – Ernie Els (2020, 2023), Retief Goosen (2022), Vijay Singh (2018), Fred Couples (2010, 2014) and Bernhard Langer (2008) – will join Harrington along with Colin Montgomerie. The 78-player field also includes 34 of the top 36 from last year’s Charles Schwab Cup standings, highlighted by reigning Schwab Cup winner Steven Alker.
