The 2024 PGA TOUR Champions season concludes with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, the third and final event of the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs. The top 36 players on the Charles Schwab Cup Points List after the Simmons Bank Championship have advanced and head to Phoenix Country Club in Arizona with the Charles Schwab Cup in their sights.

Heading into the tournament, Ernie Els leads the Charles Schwab Cup standings over No. 2 Steven Alker, the winner of last season's Charles Schwab Cup Championship. Steve Stricker won the season-long race in 2023 and took home the Charles Schwab Cup, with Alker finishing runner-up after his victory. This year’s race for the Charles Schwab Cup is the closest in years, as 11 golfers in the field enter the week with a chance to win the season-long prize.
