    • Former North Florida resident Rocco Mediate betters an opening-round 5-under 67 with a 66 in Round 2 to claim a share of the 11-under lead with 18-hole co-leader Bob Estes in his bid for a fifth PGA TOUR Champions title and first since the 2019 Sanford International.
    • World Golf Hall of Fame Member and Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, resident Vijay Singh opens with back-to-back 4-under 68s as he tries for a third top-10 finish in as many starts on PGA TOUR Champions this season.
    • Mario Tiziani, who earned a berth in the field when Steve Stricker withdrew, opens with matching 4-under 68s in his bid for a first career PGA TOUR Champions title (57th start this week).

    Rocco Mediate (T1/-11)

    • The 58-year-old remains in search of his first win on PGA TOUR Champions (126th start); best finish: 2nd/2020 Chubb Classic.
