A capsule look at all sub-60 scores shot on the Korn Ferry Tour ...

Cristobal Del Solar (57) (27-30), Country Club de Bogota - Pacos (par 70), Bogota, Colombia, first round, 2024 Astara Golf Championship presented by Mastercard (13-under), two eagles, nine birdies. Del Solar caught fire with four consecutive birdies on Nos. 5-8 before an eagle on the short par-4 ninth hole, turning in 8-under 27 and setting the stage for a back nine that captivated the golf world. The Chilean added a birdie at No. 10 and an eagle at the par-5 12th, then added consecutive birdies at the par-4 14th and 15th holes. Following pars at Nos. 16 and 17, he faced a 6-foot birdie try at the difficult par-4 18th to shoot 56. He two-putted for par and a place in golf history, becoming the first player to shoot 57 in PGA TOUR-sanctioned competition.

    • Frankie Capan III (58) (29-29), Texas Rangers GC (par 71), Arlington, Texas, first round, 2024 Veritex Bank Championship (13-under), 11 birdies, 1 eagle. Started on front nine, followed an opening par with four consecutive birdies on Nos. 2-5. After three straight pars, caught fire with a 7-foot eagle on the par-5 ninth, followed by seven straight birdies to begin the back nine. (Streak of eight straight holes under par was one short of Omar Uresti's record nine, set at the 1994 Shreveport Open.) Two-putted for par at par-4 17th, then drained a 7-foot par putt at par-5 18th to match Stephan Jaeger for the second-lowest round in Korn Ferry Tour history. The Minnesota native joined Jaeger as players to break 30 on both nines in the same Korn Ferry Tour round. Capan also broke Scottie Scheffler's course-record 59 at Texas Rangers GC, which was set in a casual round with friends in May 2020.

Stephan Jaeger (58) (29-29), TPC Stonebrae (par 70), Hayward, California, first round, 2016 Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae (12-under), 12 birdies. Began on back nine, was 1-under after three holes but reeled off birdies on 10 of his next 12 holes. After pars on his 16th and 17th holes of the day, Jaeger nailed a 10-foot birdie putt at the par-5 ninth for a first-round, 12-under 58 to break the Korn Ferry Tour record. Went on to win tournament at 30 under par.

    • Aldrich Potgieter (59) (28-31), Country Club de Bogota - Pacos (par 70), Bogota, Colombia, second round, 2024 Astara Golf Championship presented by Mastercard (11-under), one eagle, 10 birdies. Starting on the more difficult back nine, Potgieter made two birdies and an eagle in his first four holes and birdied Nos. 15-17 en route to a 28. He made the turn and opened the front nine with two birdies before experiencing a bogey setback at the par-3 fourth hole, and then ended with three straight birdies to seal a front-nine 31 and second-round 59. The 19-year-old Potgieter became the youngest player to break 60 in a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event.

David Kocher (59) (29-30), Hillcrest CC (par 71), Boise, Idaho, final round Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron, 1 eagle, 10 birdies. Kocher made six consecutive birdies on the front nine Sunday, Nos. 2-7, and he added a birdie at the ninth to turn in 29. He added a birdie at No. 11 before heating up on the final four holes; a 10-foot birdie at No. 15, a 20-foot eagle at the short par-5 16th, and a two-putt par at the par-3 17th before a final birdie at the 18th.

Michael Feagles (59) (30-29), Thornblade Club (par 71), first round, 2023 BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX (12-under), 12 birdies. Began on back nine, made two birdies in his first three holes, then rattled off three consecutive birdies on Nos. 14-16. Added a birdie at the lengthy par-4 18th to turn in 6-under 30. Played his next four holes in 1-under, setting the stage for a run of five consecutive birdies to close the round, punctuated by a 25-foot birdie at the par-3 ninth hole. Entered the week at No. 143 on the season-long standings but carded his lowest TOUR-sanctioned round (to this point) by five strokes.

Mac Meissner (59) (29-30), Lakewood National GC - Commander (par 71), second round, 2023 LECOM Suncoast Classic (12-under), 1 eagle, 10 birdies. Began on back nine, made five birdies and six pars across his first 11 holes before finishing with a flourish. Carded four consecutive birdies on Nos. 3-6 at Lakewood National in west Florida, then followed a par at 7 with a birdie at 8 and an eagle on the par-5 ninth to secure a place in Korn Ferry Tour history. The Southern Methodist alum began the day in a share of 108th place and flew near the top of the leaderboard with his emphatic performance.

Sam Saunders (59) (28-31), Atlantic Beach CC (par 71), first round, 2017 Korn Ferry Tour Championship (12-under), 13 birdies, one bogey. Began on back nine, made birdie on four of his first five holes, as well as his final six holes (Nos. 4-9). • Jason Gore (59) (28-31), Champions Run (par 71), Omaha, Nebraska, second round, 2005 Cox Classic (12-under). Began on the back nine and was 4-under after a bogey on No. 1. Closed with four birdies and two eagles, the final one coming on the 315-yard, par-4 ninth hole. Drove the green and made a 20-foot eagle putt for his 59. Won the tournament in a playoff.
