FRENCH LICK, Ind. – If you’re in the field at this week’s Korn Ferry Tour Championship, you have a chance at a PGA TOUR card.
The top 75 on the season-long Korn Ferry Tour Points List have qualified for the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour season finale, with 74 players in the field at French Lick Golf Resort’s Pete Dye Course, a first-time host venue for this event. (No. 1 Matt McCarty, who earned a Three-Victory Promotion to the PGA TOUR last month, has clinched the top spot on the season-long standings and will play this week’s Sanderson Farms Championship.)
The top 30 on the Points List after the Korn Ferry Tour Championship will earn 2025 PGA TOUR membership. Seventeen players have clinched spots inside the top 30, meaning 13 cards are yet to be determined. The 72-hole Korn Ferry Tour Championship features no cut, and with the bubble closely contested around the No. 30 spot, it sets up for a dramatic conclusion in southern Indiana.
In addition to the top 30 who will earn PGA TOUR cards, Nos. 31-60 on the Points List after the Korn Ferry Tour Championship will be exempt to PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry’s Final Stage, which will award TOUR cards to the top five finishers and ties. All Korn Ferry Tour Championship qualifiers will be fully exempt on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour.
The stakes are high at brawny French Lick, which will play upwards of 7,700 yards this week. It’s a fitting test for an event that shapes professional golf’s future.
