The ultimate prize at the Korn Ferry Tour Finals is a PGA TOUR card.

For those who narrowly miss a card, though, there can be a silver lining.

The top five players on the Korn Ferry Tour Finals Eligibility Points List after The Finals 25, not otherwise exempt, earn full Korn Ferry Tour status for 2023. These players will not need to compete at Q-School to better their position on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour Eligibility Ranking.

These five players have earned fully exempt 2023 Korn Ferry Tour status via the “floor of five” category: Hurly Long, Sean O’Hair, Vaughn Taylor, William McGirt and Aaron Baddeley.

This list is determined via a drop-down from the No. 25 spot on the Finals Eligibility Points List (this year’s No. 25, Kyle Westmoreland, earned 153.5 Finals points).

Players already fully exempt on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour do not apply when determining the floor of five. Fully exempt categories include Nos. 26-75 on the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour Regular Season Points List and Nos. 126-150 on the 2021-22 PGA TOUR FedExCup Playoffs and Eligibility Points List, as well as 2020-21 Korn Ferry Tour tournament winners who played on the 2021-22 PGA TOUR.

Here’s a breakdown of how the floor of five was determined for fully exempt status on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour.

    * Note: By finishing No. 26 on The Finals 25, Joey Garber assumes the No. 51 position on the Finals Priority Ranking. (The top 50 on the Priority Ranking receive PGA TOUR cards, with the ranking alternating between members of The 25 and members of The Finals 25.)

    * Note: Seung-Yul Noh fell one position shy of the floor of five, just 1.269 Finals points behind Baddeley.
