    Detalles Personales

Grew up in Brazil, where he only practiced golf once a week (usually Wednesdays for about an hour) at Sao Paulo GC until he moved to the United States, at age 15 and joined Club Med Academy in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Attended his first Club Med Academy camp at 12 years old, spending a month in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Biondi returned for another camp at age 13, then came back the following year at age 14 and spent six months at Club Med, after which he displayed significant improvement and played well enough that his parents gave their blessing for him to remain in the U.S. and pursue college golf.

Earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from University of Florida in fall 2022. Initially a management major, Biondi switched to finance, believing it would set him up for a better career if professional golf did not work out. Given Florida’s rigorous academic curriculum, Biondi’s academic advisor tried to steer him away from the finance program, as it was not something many student-athletes are able to handle given how challenging it is and the time commitments it requires.

Fluent in English, Portuguese (primary language), and Spanish.

Younger brother, Leonardo (goes by Leo), is a professional electronic sports gamer in the United States; he plays Rainbow Six and is under contract with a team – which has its own coach and data analysis specialist.
