Has a brother, Harry, who earned 2022-23 PGA TOUR Latinoamerica status after a successful career, also at Kansas. The brothers played together in Lawrence for two seasons.

Has a strong soccer background. Previously played competitively, and counts both of his grandfathers as former professional players in the English Premier League, for Fulham and Chelsea, respectively.
