Max McGreevy on his 5-under 67 … “I think I just gave myself a lot of good looks to start. Was able to make a decent putt on 3, and I think that just kind of settled the nerves a little bit, then hit a couple close shots on the next, and I made birdie. Again, I've been focused in on every shot, and I wouldn't say I wasn't focused on No. 7 when I made double, I just wasn't looking on the right side of the pin and ended up getting into a bad position. Probably tried to do too much with it, trying to potentially make a par and ended up making double like I did. I was happy to bounce back on the next hole and make birdie, but on a golf course like this, you're going to find yourself in the fescue or something at some point this week. Happy to come back after I did, and yeah, put a good round together.”

McGreevy on playing the last four holes as a solo… “Yeah, only having four holes left kind of by myself didn't feel that much different. Kind of felt like a practice round where I was waiting behind the group in front of me. No, I do think it's just harder to slow yourself down. I walk pretty fast. I do everything pretty fast. It was hard for me to get myself to take a couple extra seconds and almost get myself out of routine a little bit. But no, was happy to get one there at the end and make a nice par on 17.”
