Rank | Player | Age | 2022-23 earnings | Status | Comment |
| MJ Daffue | 34 | 830K | Conditional | Decent membership debut with five top 25s among 20 paydays, but he eschewed Q-School after entering. Stranger things have happened that still yielded success in the long-term, but it’s still a notable decision. |
| David Skinns | 41 | -- | KFT | Impossible not to root for the Brit who struggled during his rookie season of 2021-22. Sum is greater than the parts and that’s before the injection of moxie. Still a tough own unless he catches fire like he did early in 2023. |
| Kramer Hickok | 31 | 1.017M | Conditional | In the last two seasons on fully exempt status above the reshuffle, he went 30-for-65 with nine top 25s. It’s tough enough to sweat over a coin flip, but there just hasn’t been enough punch to warrant the wait. |
| Rafael Campos | 35 | 25K* | KFT | The long-forgotten only true rookie during the 2020-21 season (as a holdover due to an injured left elbow) returns as the last of 30 KFT grads. Obvious DFS play for the home game in Puerto Rico but little else. |
| Austin Cook | 32 | 647K | Conditional | His last two seasons have been essentially identical except that with an additional eight starts, he missed eight more cuts. And his putting regressed. It remains too difficult to make room for the PGA TOUR winner. |
| John Huh | 33 | 121K* | Major Medical | Didn’t play in 2023 due to tendonitis in an elbow, so he has 24 starts to collect 394.490 FedExCup points. The obvious mystery is when he returns. He’d be a no-brainer if it’s early but no need to roll these dice. |
| Matthias Schwab | 29 | 847K | Conditional | The Austrian turned a corner in his sophomore season but he went in the wrong direction. He’s in the bottom half in distance, frequency and accuracy on approach, and putting. And now this status. Sigh. |
| Brandt Snedeker | 43 | 167K | Major Medical | After a lengthy recovery from Manubrium Joint Stabilization (in December of 2022), went just 5-for-10 with zero top 40s. Has 21 starts to amass 394.222 FedExCup points. We just need to see him healthy. |
| Paul Haley II | 35 | 755K | Conditional | Ten years after his rookie season, he returned and, well, the outcome was much better. Snuck into the top 150 despite 22 missed cuts and with only one top 10 among three top 25s. Flier in DFS but not often. |
| Daniel Berger | 30 | -- | Multi-year | Although he hasn’t laced it up in earnest since the 2022 U.S. Open due to an injured back, he’s fully exempt through 2024. Teased early in 2023 that he’d “be back real soon.” It didn’t materialize. Anyone’s guess. |
| Jimmy Walker | 44 | 1.111M | Conditional | At that price tag, even salary leaguers will be sitting out 2024. As fans, we’re thrilled that he’s feeling healthy enough to do some damage, but it’s going to be tough to find a viable place for him to contribute. |
| Ryan McCormick | 32 | -- | KFT (Rookie) | Only grad of the seven who played in all 26 KFT events in 2023. He’ll have to figure out a way to sharpen his tee-to-green game to generate volume at this level. Good putter and scorer, but let him go it alone. |
| Scott Gutschewski | 47 | 14K* | KFT | You’ll have a better time cheering him on from a distance for the occasional leaderboard appearance. He’s not an advisable long-term own in any format, but he is the everyman with whom we all can relate. |
| Blaine Hale, Jr. | 26 | -- | Q-School (Rookie) | Easily the longest shot of the five grads. His next PGA TOUR start will be his first and he has only one KFT appearance behind him. Attitude will be the key with everything to gain and nothing to lose. |
| Philip Knowles | 27 | 53K | Medical [reshuffle] (Rookie) | Incomplete. In his first rookie season, he sliced a nerve in his right hand on Feb. 1. Limited to nine starts, the rookie eligibility carries over for 22 starts to find 421.940 FedExCup points. |
| Erik Barnes | 36 | 422K | Medical [reshuffle] | Had reconstruction of the medial patellofemoral ligament in his left knee on April 3. It was needed but it interrupted his long-awaited arrival to the TOUR. Has 17 starts to bank 290.765 FedExCup points. |
| Bill Haas | 41 | 170K | Non-exempt Medical | A sore shoulder shut him down for good during the RBC Canadian Open. Also dealt with an elbow problem. Ten starts for 374.934 FedExCup points and a promotion but he hasn’t had a top 10 since 2019. |
| Tyler McCumber | 32 | -- | Major Medical | Remains on the mend from an injured left shoulder after 18 months of sanctioned competition. Remains armed with 16 starts to find 210.747 FedExCup points. Keep an eye fixated whenever he returns. |
| Bud Cauley | 33 | -- | Major Medical | Since the beginning of 2022-23, he’s been married and became a father but he hasn’t played since September of 2020 due to extended recovery from injury. Still has 27 starts to bank 391.355 FedExCup points. |
| Vince Covello | 41 | -- | Medical [reshuffle; carryover] | He didn’t tee it up in any of the last three seasons due to an injured back, and he made only 10 starts in his rookie season of 2019-20. Still has 17 starts to pick up 440.355 FedExCup points. |
| Brandon Matthews | 29 | 265K | Medical [reshuffle] | Battled a sore back last season, so he’s been granted four starts to earn 338.524 FedExCup points and a promotion. Even when healthy, that’s a tall ask for most touring professionals. |
| Tim Wilkinson | 45 | -- | Medical [reshuffle; carryover] | It’s been more than two years now since his knee surgery. The left-handed Kiwi also had surgery on his foot. Sitting on seven starts for 355.666 FedExCup points and a promotion. |
| Davis Love III | 59 | -- | Career earnings exemption (top 25) | No value, so a fun fact: Placed T23 as a rookie at the 1986 USF&G Classic. It also was Fred Haas’ last of 402 TOUR starts. Born in 1916, Haas debuted at the second-ever Masters in 1935. |
