    Round 2 highlights at WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play


    AUSTIN, Texas – The World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play has reached the final day of the Group Stage. The 16 group winners will be decided, with sudden-death playoff looming if two or more players in the same group are tied in points following the completion of group play.

    Here’s a look at the scenarios for each group (current points in parentheses):

    GROUP 1: Branden Grace (2.0) vs. Chez Reavie (0.5); Dustin Johnson (1.0) vs. Hideki Matsuyama (0.5)
    If Grace wins or ties, he advances.
    If Graces loses and Johnson ties or loses, Grace advances.
    If Grace loses and Johnson wins, it will force a playoff between those two.
    Reavie and Matsuyama are eliminated.

    GROUP 2: Justin Rose (1.5) vs. Gary Woodland (2.0); Eddie Pepperell (0.5) vs. Emiliano Grillo (0.0)
    The winner of the Rose-Woodland match advances.
    If Rose-Woodland tie, Woodland advances.
    Pepperell and Grillo are eliminated.

    GROUP 3: Brooks Koepka (0.5) vs. Alex Noren (1.0); HoaTong Li (2.0) vs. Tom Lewis (0.5)
    If Li wins or ties, he advances.
    If Li loses and Noren ties or loses, Li advances.
    If Noren wins and Li loses, it will force a playoff between those two.
    Koepka and Lewis are eliminated.

    GROUP 4: Rory McIlroy (2.0) vs. Matthew Fitzpatrick (0.0); Justin Harding (1.0) vs. Luke List (1.0)
    If McIlroy wins or ties, he advances.
    If McIlroy loses, he can still advance if Harding-List tie.
    If Harding wins and McIlroy loses, it will force a playoff between those two.
    If List wins and McIlroy loses, it will force a playoff between those two.
    Fitzpatrick is eliminated.

    GROUP 5: Lucas Bjerregaard (1.5) vs. Matthew Wallace (1.0); Justin Thomas (1.0) vs. Keegan Bradley (0.5)
    If Bjerregaard wins, he advances.
    If Bjerregaard ties and Thomas wins, it will force a playoff between those two.
    If Bjerregaard ties and Bradley wins, Bjerregaard advances.
    If Wallace wins and Bradley wins or ties, Wallace advances.
    If Thomas and Wallace win, it will force a playoff between those two.
    Bradley is eliminated.

    GROUP 6: Marc Leishman (2.0) vs. Bryson DeChambeau (1.0); Kiradech Aphibarnrat (1.0) vs. Russell Knox (0.0)
    If Leishman wins or ties, he advances.
    If DeChambeau wins and Aphibarnrat loses or tie, it will force a two-man playoff between DeChambeau and Leishman.
    If DeChambeau and Aphibarnrat win, they will force a three-man playoff with Leishman.
    Knox is eliminated.

    GROUP 7: Francesco Molinari (2.0) vs. Webb Simpson (0.5); Thorbjorn Olesen (1.0) vs. Satoshi Kodaira (0.5)
    If Molinari wins or ties, he advances.
    If Molinari loses and Olesen ties or loses, Molinari advances.
    If Molinari loses and Olesen wins, it will force a playoff between those two.
    Simpson and Kodaira are eliminated.

    GROUP 8: Matt Kuchar (2.0) vs. Jon Rahm (1.0); J.B. Holmes (1.0) vs. Si Woo Kim (0.0)
    If Kuchar wins or ties, he advances.
    If Rahm wins and Holmes wins, they will force a three-man playoff with Kuchar.
    If Rahm wins and Holmes loses or tie, it will force a playoff between Rahm and Kuchar.
    Kim is eliminated.

    GROUP 9: Xander Schauffele (1.5) vs. Rafa Cabrera Bello (0.5); Tyrrell Hatton (1.5) vs. Lee Westwood (0.5)
    If Schauffele and Hatton each win or tie, it will force a playoff between those two.
    If Schauffele wins and Hatton ties or loses, Schauffele advances.
    If Hatton wins and Schauffele ties or loses, Hatton advances.
    If Westwood and Cabrera Bello win, it will force a four-man playoff with Schauffele and Hatton.

    GROUP 10: Paul Casey (1.5) vs. Cameron Smith (0.0); Charles Howell III (1.5) vs. Abraham Ancer (1.0)
    If Casey and Howell each win or each tie, it will force a playoff between those two.
    If Casey wins and Howell ties or loses, Casey advances.
    If Howell wins and Casey ties or loses, Howell advances.
    If Casey loses and Ancer wins, Ancer advances.
    If Casey ties and Ancer wins, it will force a playoff between those two.
    Smith is eliminated.

    GROUP 11: Tommy Fleetwood (1.5) vs. Louis Oosthuizen (1.0); Kyle Stanley (1.5) vs. Byeong Hun An (0.0)
    If Fleetwood and Stanley each win or each tie, it will force a playoff between those two.
    If Fleetwood wins and Stanley ties or loses, Fleetwood advances.
    If Stanley wins and Fleetwood ties or loses, Stanley advances.
    If Stanley loses and Oosthuizen wins, Oosthuizen advances.
    If Stanley ties and Oosthuizen wins, it will force a playoff between those two.
    An is eliminated.

    GROUP 12: Henrik Stenson (2.0) vs. Jim Furyk (2.0); Jason Day (0.0) vs. Phil Mickelson (0.0)
    The winner of the Stenson-Furyk match advances (a tie would force a playoff).
    Day and Mickelson are eliminated.

    GROUP 13: Patrick Cantlay (1.5) vs. Tiger Woods (1.0); Brandt Snedeker (1.5) vs Aaron Wise (0.0)
    If Cantlay and Snedeker each win or tie, it will force a playoff between those two.
    If Snedeker wins and Cantlay loses, Snedeker advances.
    If Cantlay wins and Snedeker loses, Cantlay advances.
    If Woods wins and Snedeker ties, it will force a playoff between those two.
    If Woods wins and Snedeker loses, Woods advances.
    Wise is eliminated.

    GROUP 14: Tony Finau (1.0) vs. Ian Poulter (1.0); Kevin Kisner (1.0) vs Keith Mitchell (1.0)
    If Finau wins and Kisner and Mitchell tie, Finau advances.
    If Poulter wins and Kisner and Mitchell tie, Poulter advances.
    If Kisner wins and Finau and Poulter tie, Kisner advances.
    If Mitchell wins and Finau and Poulter tie, Mitchell advances.
    If Finau and Kisner win, it will force a playoff between those two.
    If Finau and Mitchell win, it will force a playoff between those two.
    If Poulter and Kisner win, it will force a playoff between those two.
    If Poulter and Mitchell win, it will force a playoff between those two.

    If Spieth loses and Na wins, Na advances.
    If Spieth ties and Na wins, it will force a playoff between those two.
    Watson is eliminated.

    GROUP 16: Sergio Garcia (2.0) vs. Patrick Reed (0.5); Andrew Putnam (1.0) vs. Shane Lowry (0.5)
    If Garcia wins or ties, he advances.
    If Garcia loses and Putnam wins, it will force a playoff between those two.
    If Garcia loses and Putnam loses or ties, Garcia advances.
    Reed and Lowry are eliminated.
