    FULL-MEMBERSHIP RANKINGS:Intro| 1-50 | 51-100 | 101-150 | 151-200 | 201-245 | Cheat sheet

NOTES: Age as of Oct. 4, 2018 | An asterisk beside a salary indicates a bargain.

    RankPlayerAge2017-18 earningsStatusComment
Tyrrell Hatton261.943MTop 60.Made the most of his first PGA TOUR card in just 16 starts. Because he'll remain comfortably inside the top 50 of the OWGR, he'll continue to have the freedom to chase whatever he wants.
Daniel Berger251.721M*Top 70.Poised to rebound after a injury-hampered summer. Sat out the BMW presumably to maximize rest for his right wrist. With the season reset, let him come to you, and then don't hesitate.
Louis Oosthuizen351.731M*Top 70.The asterisk beside his salary is cautionary. He doesn’t play often enough to warrant cornerstone status, but he can pop at any time and he remains eligible for everything. In other words, same old, same old.
Alex Noren362.699MTop 60.Remember his age despite the serious splash as a first-time member in 2017-18. If he resembles his countryman, Henrik Stenson, over time, we'll grab it. We also know not to rush into this player.
Jamie Lovemark301.377M*Top 125.Don't sweat the mild downturn, embrace it. His ceiling remains high because he stays busy and plays hard courses well. His patience opens doors to pop at any time. One of this season's must-gets.
Chris Kirk331.824MTop 70.Enjoyed a fruitful season in which he presented shimmers of evidence that he's entering his prime. Totaled a career-high 29 starts and set a three-year low of five MCs. Upper-level complementary value.
Branden Grace301.529M*Top 125.Defaults to a higher expectation because he plays in all of the biggest events. Also gunning for a fourth straight Presidents Cup appearance. Tends to play up on par 70s and 71s.
Luke List332.710MTop 60.Methodically climbing the ladder and gaining comfort with each step. It took him a little longer than similarly pedigreed talents of his generation, but it's worked for him. Sixty starts in last two seasons.
Kiradech Aphibarnrat291.275M*Non-member top 125.Captured membership via the non-member top 125. Fair to wonder if the chase yielded more than the destination come 2018-19, but he's fearless and a proven winner. How often he plays is a mystery.
Chesson Hadley312.768MTop 60.Slammed on the brakes late but he doesn't have any weaknesses. His propensity to play as often as he can plants smiles on our faces. Also streaky, so weekly leaguers know when to hop aboard.
Pat Perez422.962MTop 60.Should be compelling how the Nappy Factor affects this guy. One of gamers' faves for all of the reasons, his honesty is as infectious as it's inspiring. It's evident that he's found the sweet spot of life.
Jason Kokrak331.794MTop 60.Coming off a season in which he set or tied highs in starts (29), top 10s (four) and cuts made (21). Because of his comfort level, those are realistic targets once again. Wonderfully balanced and in his prime.
Charley Hoffman411.400M*Top 80.In the wake of one of his most challenging seasons (in which he failed to record a top 10), it's impossible to ignore his age, but keeping busy will slow the career slide. Let him come to you, though.
Jimmy Walker392.027MTop 80.Made his season with one hot month, but where he landed exceeded expectations emerging from the challenge of Lyme disease. He's playing slightly less, but we'll take another season like 2017-18 in an instant.
Ollie Schniederjans251.303M*Top 125.Zero worries. On a terrific trajectory and entering his third season. His tee-to-green game needs work but it's not applying much pressure on his putting. He's handled it confidently and with control.
Kevin Tway301.379M*Top 125.Came on so strong in the second half of 2017-18 that salary gamers weren't mad when he fizzled in the Playoffs. Long off the tee and devours par 5s, but he's learned to throttle down. Look out.
Ian Poulter422.714MTop 60.In a sense, he logged his best season while matching a career-high 20 starts, so a downturn is predictable, especially at his age, but he'll continue to serve a purpose like a tide that lifts all boats.
Russell Knox331.424M*Top 125.Made 20 cuts with three top 10s and another five top 25s, and still settled for a five-year low in earnings. Win in Ireland in July positioned him very well to capitalize on that value moving forward.
Abraham Ancer271.676MTop 60.With the way he concluded the season, he's expected to hit the ground running in the fall. All but locked up the exemption into the WGC-Mexico Championship as the host country's rep.
Keith Mitchell261.641MTop 70.Ignored theory that a hot start is necessary from the reshuffle. Found a groove and rode it to the Rookie of the Year ballot. Fastest clubhead speed on TOUR at 124.67 mph and ranked 35th in GIR.
Brian Gay462.152MTop 60.Performed 10 years his junior, so ease off the throttle if you're expecting a continuation. Yet, this is what's possible when a veteran sharpshooter and terrific putter is healthy. Outstanding regularly in DFS.
Kevin Streelman391.523MTop 80.Just one of the guys in the trenches. Solid. What you see is what you get. He knows who he is and he's fine with it, as so we should be. He'll even spike every so often to warrant the investment.
Russell Henley291.516MTop 125.Continues to play to his profile as a streaky performer whose reputation as a terrific putter overshadows what is a strong balanced attack. Curious that he capped at a career-low 23 starts in 2017-18, however.
Andrew Putnam292.387MTop 60.Manufactured a textbook, breakout season what with leaderboard appearances laying the foundation for the maiden victory at Barracuda. Smart, steady chip who will continue to contribute.
C.T. Pan261.881MTop 60.Late surge made the difference, so the jury remains out in the long-term despite two successful seasons to open his career. Totaled 59 starts thus far but profiles as a horse for tight courses until putting improves.
Patrick Rodgers261.287M*Top 125.If you're willing to accept that 2017-18 essentially was a push, prepare for a boon. With three relatively stress-free seasons under his belt, the former all-everything at Stanford is poised for a breakout.
Sergio Garcia38878K*Multi-year.Coming off his worst season on the PGA TOUR. I theorized that because he's a decorated touring pro, the Nappy Factor had a reverse effect. Regardless, salary gamers shouldn't pass on that price tag.
Brandon Hagy2776K*Major Medical.Rested for tendonitis in his left wrist for seven months before a strong return on the Web.com Tour. With 24 starts (to earn 338.438 FedExCup points), treat him as a full-season own. Go get him.
Sam Burns22495K*Web Finals.Sprinkled 11 PGA TOUR starts into his 2018 schedule, so he's not a rookie. Led Web in putting and ranked fifth in scoring, T2 in par-5 scoring and third in the all-around. You don't need my endorsement.
J.J. Spaun281.978MTop 70.Hard not to love this guy in fantasy and reality. Embodies a focus and eagerness to compete. Tee-to-green game is sturdy, so he'll emerge when he locks it in with the putter. Nothing but upside here.
Anirban Lahiri311.441MTop 125.Recorded six top 15s in 2017-18 but didn't really challenge for his first TOUR title. Gamers should be inspired by his target of qualifying for the Presidents Cup for a third time. Entering his prime, too.
Sangmoon Bae32184K*Major Medical (carryover).Opened Web Finals T35-T6-Win but won't need the slot in the reshuffle if he collects 294.752 FedExCup points in his first 10 starts. Presidents Cup carrot is back out there.
Scott Piercy391.882MTop 70.His team victory (with Billy Horschel) in New Orleans in April was a bonus, but it also was his last top-30 finish of the season. Good candidate to set aside if there's a younger talent with upside on the board.
Andrew Landry312.642MTop 60.We wouldn't mind even just 60 percent of his output once more just to be safe. All five of his top 30s were top 10s and those may have been influenced by the Nappy Factor. Profiles as a tough-track talent.
Ryan Palmer421.484MTop 70.Aggravating at times but reliable in the long-term. That's golf. Given his age and skewed impact of a P2 at Torrey Pines, anticipate a push or a regression.
Patton Kizzire323.541MTop 30.The concern since he debuted on the PGA TOUR in 2015-16 was why it took him so long to get here. Now a two-time winner, he sets up best in DFS. Not ownable in salary circles, at least this season.
Jason Dufner411.497MTop 125.Might be slowing down. Exemptions into the Masters, U.S. Open and Open Championship expired in 2018. That hurts his value, but he's in decent position to return to all three with one or two good performances.
Sungjae Im2033K*Rookie. Web.com Tour earnings leader (exempt from reshuffle). Two wins, three seconds. Qualified for the PGA Championship on his OWGR. Cut teeth at Nine Bridges (hosts THE CJ CUP). Exempt into THE PLAYERS.
J.B. Holmes361.595MTop 125.Probably past prime and coming off an uninspiring season in which he registered only four top 25s among just 14 cuts made. Because his great play is but occasional, his value is lower, anyway. That's fine.
Nick Watney371.402MTop 80.Authored one of the quietest seasons for a guy who cashed 21 times. It's because he had only one top 10 and it was a T2 (Wells Fargo). The best news is that wrist and back injuries are history.
Danny Lee281.269MTop 125.Finally looked like his old self in the second half and ended the season with five straight cuts made, his longest streak in over a year. Now enters Presidents Cup year; he missed out in 2017. One of the busiest.
Dylan Frittelli28454K*Web Finals.Fresh off both teases on the PGA TOUR as a non-member and a solid run through the Finals, he could quickly veer into his own lane à la Peter Uihlein (in 2017-18) due to European Tour success.
Ryan Armour422.485MTop 60.Breakthrough season post-40! Surprised that he totaled 32 starts after winning early, but he took advantage of his stature. Despite three top 10s among nine top 25s, still didn't crack OWGR top 100.
Chez Reavie362.700MTop 60.Glided on the wave of consecutive runner-up finishes in February, but remains a horse for courses where he can thread the needle. Finished third on TOUR in fairways hit and fourth in proximity.
Michael Kim251.379MTop 125.After going 41-for-57 in his first two seasons, he wasn't profiling as the guy who went just 10-for-27 with a breakthrough victory (John Deere) in 2017-18, so all bets are off. Surround him properly if you're in.
Trey Mullinax261.184M*Top 125.The former star at the University of Alabama answered the bell on conditional status to climb above the reshuffle in 2018-19. Worth the plunge because of his massive upside.
Denny McCarthy25498K*Web Finals earnings leader (exempt from reshuffle).Could climb one category (via Minor Medical) if he earns 110.415 FedExCup points in his first two starts. Several weapons, the best of which is his putter.
Lucas Glover38789K*Web Finals.Didn't play after the U.S. Open until the Finals, so he has eight starts on a Minor Medical to earn just 53.151 FedExCup points. Automatic low-risk investment.
Matthew Fitzpatrick24830K*OWGR Top 50. Non-member.Achieved STM in 2017-18 but couldn't crack the non-member top 125. He's maxed out on available starts in each of the last three seasons, so he's a predictable commodity.
James Hahn361.386MTop 125.Keeps on keepin' on. Ended the season without a top 30 in 17 starts, but that's entirely within his profile. Stay the course in deeper formats.
