Pan’s custom Nike Air Force 1 ‘First-Win Edition’ shoes

LAS VEGAS – As sneaker collectors know, there are some extremely rare shoes that go for insane prices. Then, there are shoes like C.T. Pan’s new Nike Air Force 1’s that money simply cannot buy.
When a Nike athlete wins a professional golf event, Rick Nichols, the Director of Field Operations and Global Sports Marketing at Nike, and the Nike Golf team, commemorate the victory with “something special,” as Nichols told PGATOUR.COM. For example, Paul Casey was gifted a pair of custom Nike Air Force 1 shoes after winning the 2018 Valspar Championship. Surely, Nike athletes Tiger Woods, Brooks Koepka and Rory McIlroy have loads of “something special” gifts that the public hasn’t seen, with all of their worldwide victories.
Pan, who captured his first ever PGA TOUR victory at the 2019 RBC Heritage, was presented with his own custom Nike Air Force 1 custom shoes at the 2019 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas. Luckily, he shared the moment, and photos of the shoes, with his social media followers on Tuesday.
The detailing on Pan’s 1-of-1 shoes include emojis, his birthdate, the University of Washington Huskies mascot, the logo of the RBC Heritage event that he won, the PGA TOUR logo, his winning score and stats, his wife’s name, a few quotes from Pan himself, and much more.
The AF1 shoes are spikeless, so it’s unlikely we’ll ever see Pan on the course wearing the custom sneakers, but let’s appreciate Pan giving us a great look at the shoes.
