Tiger tests Scotty Cameron, TaylorMade putters during BMW practice round

Tiger Woods doesn't appear to be completely sold on the TaylorMade TP Black Copper Juno putter he put in the bag last week during the Dell Technologies Championship.
Less than 24 hours after the final putt dropped at TPC Boston, Woods was spotted with two putters in the bag during a nine-hole practice round at Aronimink Golf Club, site of the BMW Championship, with fellow TaylorMade staffer Rory McIlroy.
Woods rolled putts with the TP Black Copper Juno but spent a majority of the practice round working with his trusty Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS — also known as the putter that played a role in 13 of Woods' major championship titles.
As for why Woods is considering a switch, a poor performance on the greens during the final round of the Dell Technologies Championship likely played a role in the decision to reopen the putter competition.
Woods, who ranked T36 in Strokes Gained: Putting and T54 in putts per green in regulation for the week, played the last five holes in three-over during the final round, and only made one putt longer than 11 feet. He also lost 1.352 strokes to the field on the greens.
With identical Anser-style head shapes, the decision will likely come down which putter Woods believes gives him the best chance to contend.
It only took him four rounds to reopen the putter search. And based on his past success with the Cameron, and the amount of time he spent working with it on Tuesday, it's very possible the 14-time major winner could have a different flat stick in the bag come the first round.
