PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla.– Comprised of six tournaments across six countries in nine weeks, the Latin America Swing kicks off the PGA TOUR Americas 2025 season in Córdoba, Argentina, March 27-30. With additional stops in Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico and Colombia, these events will determine the top 60 players in Segment I of the race for the Fortinet Cup. Those players will retain membership for Segment II of the season, which will be played in North America between July and September, with the ultimate goal being to finish in the top 10 and earn Korn Ferry Tour membership for 2026.

Here's a quick look at the six tournaments staging the first segment of the PGA TOUR Americas season:

93rd Abierto Telecom del Centro presented by Zurich

March 27-30 at Córdoba Golf Club in Villa Allende, Argentina

With a rich history dating back to its inaugural edition in 1927, the 93rd Abierto Telecom del Centro presented by Zurich will serve as the opening event of the 2025 PGA TOUR Americas season. A PGA TOUR-sanctioned event eight times in the past, the tournament has produced many great champions. World Golf Hall of Famer Sam Snead claimed the title in 1941, while two-time major champion Ángel Cabrera has won it eight times. Current PGA TOUR members Alejandro Tosti, who won by eight shots in 2022, and Cristóbal Del Solar, who won in 2018, are among the most recent tournament winners. With its old-style, tree-lined layout, Córdoba Golf Club presents a tight and challenging test for the Tour’s up-and-coming stars.

70th ECP Brazil Open

April 3-6 at Rio Olympic Golf Course in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Immediately following the season opener in Argentina, the Tour will head to the Rio Olympic Golf Course for the 70th edition of the ECP Brazil Open. A world-class venue that hosted golf’s return to the Olympic Games in 2016, the Gil Hanse-designed course will welcome the PGA TOUR for the fourth time (PGA TOUR Latinoamérica in 2016 and 2017, PGA TOUR Americas in 2024). Last year, Matthew Anderson birdied the final two holes for a thrilling one-shot victory that propelled him to first place in the Latin America Swing. The young Canadian maintained his strong form, earning a 2025 Korn Ferry Tour card as a top-10 player in the race for the Fortinet Cup.

KIA Open

April 24-27 at Quito Tennis & Golf Club in Quito, Ecuador

Established in 2014 and celebrating its 11th edition as a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event, the Kia Open returns as the only tournament to claim multiple PGA TOUR Americas awards for the 2024 season. (Best Tournament Brand Identity and Best Tournament Awareness.) Played at the Quito Tennis & Golf Club, this event is unique due to the elevation in Quito, which sits at 9,350 feet above sea level. Tour member Thomas Longbella is expected to return as the defending champion.

Diners Club Peru Open

May 1-4 at Los Inkas Golf Club in Lima, Peru

Entering its 12th year as a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event, the Diners Club Peru Open is coming off a 2024 season in which it earned PGA TOUR Americas Tournament of the Year honors. As usual, this time of year in Lima offers ideal weather conditions, perfectly complementing the manicured course at Los Inkas Golf Club. Following in the footsteps of past champions such as Tyler McCumber (2016) and Harry Higgs (2018), 2024 winner Stuart Macdonald leveraged his victory to move up to the Korn Ferry Tour as one of the top 10 players in the Fortinet Cup Points List.

Previously contested for four years at Tulum Country Club — now home to the Korn Ferry Tour’s PGA Riviera Maya Championship — the Bupa Championship has moved to Club de Golf Mexico in Mexico City. Playing over 7,500 yards, the Larry M. Hughes-designed course is regarded as one of the finest in the country. Inter Rapidísimo Golf Championship

May 22-25 at El Rincón de Cajicá Golf Club in Bogota, Colombia

The Latin America Swing finale will take PGA TOUR Americas back to El Rincón de Cajicá Golf Club, located 20 miles north of Bogota. A 7,464-yard course designed by Robert Trent Jones in the early 1960s, El Rincón saw Harry Hillier dominate in 2024. The New Zealand native fired a course-record 59 in the second round en route to an eight-shot victory that paved his way to the Korn Ferry Tour.
