Birdies for the Brave is the PGA TOUR's primary vehicle for supporting the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and their
families. Since 2005, the TOUR has joined with PGA TOUR players and corporate partners to raise millions of dollars for military
homefront groups that directly serve military men and women lost or seriously injured in performance of their duty, through fundraising
events at TPC clubs nationwide.
Birdies for the Brave was established by TOUR player Phil Mickelson and his wife, Amy, to support troops injured during combat. As
part this program, for each birdie or eagle made on TOUR throughout the season, a contribution of $100 for a birdie or $500 for an
eagle is made to Homes For Our Troops and Special Operations Warrior Foundation. More

Spotlight: Wounded Warrior Project
The Wounded Warrior Project exists to provide tangible comfort and support to
severely injured service members as they recover and transition into civilian life. Its mission is
focused on the ideal of one service member helping another, and programs are designed to provide
direct personal attention and support to a new generation of service members.
• More on the Wounded Warrior Project
"The dedication, professionalism and patriotism of each and every one of our troops are the cornerstones
of our freedom. I am proud to be a small part of The Wounded Warrior Project."
