| Course origins |
The Scarlet Course at The Ohio State University Golf Club is rated as one of the top collegiate courses in the nation. It has hosted 10 NCAA men's championships and four NCAA women's championships.
|
It was the last course designed by Alister Mackenzie and was completed after his death.
|
The Ohio State University alum Jack Nicklaus designed a restoration completed in May of 2006. |
The Course was lengthened for the championship tees and the bunkers were redesigned to appear like classic designs of Mackenzie. The length is now 7,455 yards and par 71.
